Here’s the best places to visit in Jaipur. Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan. It is a part of the golden triangle. Jaipur is the city which is a must visit destination. It has beautiful palaces and haveli. It’s nicknamed the pink city, it is not really pink. The buildings are actually more of a peach or orange color.

Amer fort:-
Amer is the top tourist attraction of Jaipur. It is located at a distance of about 11km from the main city. It is built with pale yellow and pink sandstone and white marble. It has four sections which are graced with their own courtyards. There are a lot of attraction which include diwan-e-aam.

Jantar Mantar-
Jantar Mantar is the world’s largest stone sundial, located in the heart of Jaipur. It is maintained as a monument and educational activity. It attracts tourists, historians, astronomers, architects, mathematicians and geographers.

Hawa mahal:-
Hawa mahal is also known as ‘palace of Breeze’ which was built in 1799. It has 953 windows. It’s shaped like a honeycomb. Windows make it a perfect summer palace. Strangers are not allowed to saw royal ladies so in that case this palace is very helpful.

Sheesh Mahal:-
Sheesh Mahal is also known as Mirror Palace. It was constructed by Maharaja Man singh in 16th century. It was the most attractive feature of Amer fort. You can not enter the hall of Sheesh mahal, but can admire the artwork on the Sheesh Mahal glass from the outside.

City Palace:-
City palace is the most famous and major attraction for tourists in jaipur. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai singh. City Palace used to be the home for the royal family of the jaipur. Now it was divided into two parts, one which contain museums and other for royal family still resides.

Jaigarh Fort:-
Jaigarh fort was situated on the cheel ka teela of the Aravalli range. It was built by Mirza Raja Jai singh in 1726. It was made for the protection of Amer fort. In Jaigarh fort, the places to visit are- Jaivana cannon, museum, Armourt, the highest point of the fort ‘Doya Burj’ and Shubhat Niwas.

Jal Mahal:-
Jal mahal was situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. It was built around 1699. The visitors come to see the Mahal from the bank of Man Sagar lake. Jal mahal palace is one of the most photographed spots in jaipur.

Moti Dungri Temple:-
Moti Dungri is the Hindu Temple which is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It was built in 1761. The temple is a popular tourist attraction in the city and is located next to the Birla mandir.

Panna Meena Ka Kund:-
Panna meena ka kund is the famous step well which is located in the ancient Amer town of jaipur. It is believed that it is over 1000 years old. The main attraction of the kund are 1800 symmetrical steps.

Rusirani village:-
Rusirani village is a small village located 90 km away from Jaipur. It was that village where the ‘pandavas’ resides before the Mahabharata War.
