Different ways to travel in Rajasthan
Name the different ways to travel in Rajasthan? In Rajasthan, it has good road connectivity between different cities of the state, so you can board bus facilities that cost cheap. And if you want it to be cheaper then go for trains. Trains are the cheapest , you might not find frequent trains. So buses are the best option. Here government roadways bus services are also available. But I personally suggested that we travel through private buses. They are more comfortable and equally priced.
Some of the popular travel services are:-
- Jain travels
- Chandra travels
- Kalpana travels
- Vijay travels
There are so many ways to travel in Rajasthan:-
- Private car
- Trains
- Buses
- Airlines
- Private car/taxi
This method of traveling is the most convenient way to travel because of well built roads and good connectivity of cities. However, travelers should make sure or beware of drivers that do not charge enough. Tourists should book the taxi from a reputed transport company in which they charge only that amount which is offered in the package. To avoid the inconvenience of overcharging, tourists can hire or get a per-kilometer rate for the car which they want to hire and the overnight supplements for the drivers.
- Trains
Indian railways (IRCTC) is one the largest in the world. Train system is difficult for newcomers because of the complexity of trains, routes and also even payments.
Foreigners can not book and pay for train tickets online because they need a local number and a local credit or debit card, so foreigners need the help of a travel agent.
First choice of train should be Shatabdi or Rajdhani as the best train in India. Different types of seats are available, some are ‘chair cars’ where only chairs are available and some are sleepers where berths are available for sleeping.
Indian railways provide different types of facilities. You can also order food from different apps ,including restaurant meals apps such as IRCTC e-catering app. Major tourist spots like Jaipur and Kota have railway stations that connect them to major cities of the country.
- Best trains in Rajasthan
- The palace on wheel
- The royal Rajasthan on wheel
- The maharaja express
- Buses
In Rajasthan, there are so many bus services available which are also pocket friendly. Government bus services are there and also private agencies are available which are more comfortable than government bus services.
The Rajasthan tourism Department (RTDC) runs luxury buses which are connected to the various cities in the state. State government buses have just a little chaos you will have to handle, they make up for a great option.
- Airlines
Rajasthan is a hub of tourism. So that’s why it is well connected by air. So it is helpful within a country or from another one. There are mainly three airports in Rajasthan. Sanganer international airport in jaipur, Jodhpur airport and Dabok airport in Udaipur. Jodhpur and Udaipur airport are only for domestic routes but Sanganer are for both domestic and international air traffic. All the smaller destinations still have to depend on roadways and railways.
