Why Rajasthan is famous? Rajasthan is known for its historical palaces and forts. Rajasthan is the best place for tourism and also the most popular tourist destination in India for historic architecture and beautiful culture. In Rajasthan there are several places to visit.

It is famous for textiles, handicrafts as well as semi-precious stones. In Rajasthan block prints, tie and dye prints, Bagru prints, Sanganeri prints are also famous. It is a hub of natural beauty.

Rajasthan is the home of beautiful forts, palaces and havelis which were erected by mughal and rajput kings. The total number of forts are 14 in rajasthan. The most eye-catching palaces are Hawa mahal, lake palace,umaid bhawan, jal mahal. Chittorgarh fort is the largest fort in India. Hawa mahal, which is known as ‘Palace of wind’ or ‘palace of breeze’ because it has more than 953 windows in the palace.

Deserts and lakes 

The city Jaisalmer is famous for desert where tourists also enjoy camel rides in desert and also the hill station which is known by mount abu, where you can experience cool weather and lush green atmosphere. Rajasthan is full of deserts and lakes. Udaipur is the most romantic place of Rajasthan. Udaipur city is also known as the Venice of the east because of its beautiful lakes. In Jaipur sambhar salt lake and Man sagar lakes are famous.

Religious visiting places

Pushkar city, full of temples and ghats. If you believe in god or religion, then definitely visit pushkar city. In Pushkar, the only temple of Brahma god is situated. Pushkar is also famous for celebrating the Holy festival. Temples of Rajasthan also attract lots of visitors for their mind blowing architecture. In Jaipur, Galta ji is also famous in hindu religion. In Bikaner, karni mata temples are also famous. It is also famous for rats.

Colorful Culture

The traditions and the culture of Rajasthan is very popular not only in India but also worldwide. The attire which is carried by Rajasthani people is also famous which is different from other states. In their costumes, they use multiple colors and mirrorworks embroidery which makes it beautiful and different from others. People also use colorful turbans also which shows their culture.

Handicrafts and jewelry

Rajasthan is famous for its handcrafting, painting, heritage and jewelry. Jaipur city is hub for Blue-glassy poetry. Rajasthan is famous for puppet shows, those toys and dolls are handcrafted. Rajasthan is also famous for fabric work. There are several types of fabric prints like Sanganeri print, block print, tie and dye print, Bagru print  etc.

Camel safari

The safari begins with a traditional rajasthani welcome. A camel safari in Rajasthan is that experience which takes you back to the rich cultural heritage of the region. In Thar desert, the first thing  that attracts the tourists is camel safari. The camels are also known as the “Ships of the desert”. In the desert, the locals have been using them for transportation and trade also. Jaisalmer and Bikaner both are famous for camel safari. However, the desert is nowhere near as impressive as Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer is the best option.
