RAJASTHAN
Rajasthan is the land of Kings. It is situated in northern western India. There are lot of reasons Why visit Rajasthan? Rajasthan is famous for its culture, traditions, colorful cities, and delicious food. It is famous for forts, beautiful temples, palaces and also some places are famous for lakes like Udaipur. Rajasthan is also known as Rajputana which means land of Rajputs.

Rajasthan has the largest number of forts, palaces, and also havelis. The unique charm of Rajasthan is The Thar desert , with its golden sand dunes. Rajasthan is also called Rangilo Rajasthan. It is also famous for ethnic street market. All these markets show architecture, clothing, jewelry etc. It is the most versatile state in india.

Forts and Palaces: Rajasthan has numberous of ancient forts and palaces. Most of the forts and palaces are built by rajputs kings who ruled this land, each and every fort has its own different and unique architecture and design. These forts show the royalty of the state and also the royal past.
Festivals and Fairs: Another reason to visit Rajasthan is their festivals and fairs running all year around. By these fairs and festivals, travelers also know the culture, art, traditions of the state. Some of the major ones are pushkar fair, gangaur fair, jaipur kite festival etc. Besides all these things, various activities and competitions are also held like turban tying competition, puppet show, camel race, Mr and Miss desert competition, cock and bull fighting.
Delicious food: Rajasthan is famous for Rajasthani Thali which includes many dishes like Gatte ki sabji, ker sangri, dal batti churma, lahsan ki chutney and many more. The dessert section is also amazing like Ghever, maalpua etc. There are a variety of vegetarian options which will amaze you. And also same for non vegetarian like laal maas, safed maas etc.
Folk dance: In this royal state, there are several different tribes, everyone has their own unique dance style, music and art form which describes the state’s cultural traditions. Kalbelia dance is the most popular folk dance, which is performed by females and instruments are played by males. Katputli dance is also famous. Other dance forms include Ghoomar, Kacchi Ghodi, Kheyal dance, Terah Taali.
Street Market: The markets are also famous in Rajasthan. Some are dedicated to gold and traditional jewelry, while others are spices, antiques and handicrafts. Clothing, leather accessories and also spices. Johari bazaar and bapu bazaar are the most popular locations to visit in jaipur , bada bazaars in udaipur, pushkar’s sadar bazar is also famous.
Lakes: In Rajasthan, there are so many lakes with beautiful surroundings. The pichola lake, which is the jewel of Udaipur. In jaipur, there is a stunning man sagar lake which includes a beautiful palace. Pushkar lake in pushkar, Nakki lake in mount abu.
Village life: If you explore Rajasthan in depth, then explore the village life, where we find beautiful houses which are made up of mud and also cow dung. You were surprised after knowing that cows were being fed the first freshly cooked chapati. In the village they have camels ,cattles and other animals also.
Wildlife: Rajasthan is world famous for its wildlife sanctuaries. There are so many numbers to visit, but some must visit wildlife sanctuaries and national parks which includes Ranthambore national park,Kumbhalgarh wildlife sanctuaries and sariska tiger reserve. The royal bengal tiger,the rare great Indian bustard etc. For best experience taking a jeep Safari or a boat ride.
